Sharing my maths problem

Today I was given a maths problem.It was 5 x 5=25.I know its 25 because I skip counted in 5's.

Auckland Live Trip

Hurray!Our school went to Aotea Centre!

I was so excited to go there.

First we went in the hall and some other school children came.

Next, I saw some dancers.When they  dance they create shapes and patterns.Then they taught us a haka. After that,I used an ipad to look inside a bird house.I saw colourful birds, some birds fly high,and some birds  twirl.

Then,I saw a big screen with peoples faces on it. A girl hold a phone.Next she dialed a number.After that I blew into the phone and the persons face was blown on the screen

Later on I went to watch Rima and Kora. It was dark but there was some lights.My favourite part is when a  girl turn around and made a fart.It was scary when the show started the lights went off and she fell down.

Finally we went back school.I had heaps of fun at the Aotea Centre.I hope I can go there again.

Ice cream Combination

  I was given 6 combination.Total combination with chocolate flavours 6,with strawberry 6,with hokey pokey 6,with banana and chocolate chip 6,with cookies and cream 6,and with caramel flavours 6.I know there are 36 flavours because 6 plus 6=12 then another two more 6=12 so,12+12=24,then 2 more 6=12 so,24+12=36.

Subtraction from ten

Today I am learning to do subtraction from ten.I know how to do this because 10-4=6.And my background colour is red.And my shape is a heart that has x's on them.

Snail Array

Toady my class and I learned about snail array.My strategy is 5+5=10+another 2 5's =10 so,10+10=20

Last day of Badminton

Last Friday room 5/L went to the hall to play badminton!

First we had some warm up.We played stuck in the mud.When we played, the taggers were Punipuao and Vaughan. After that we have to run away when coach Ben said go.I was shaking because I might get tagged.Later on we took a racket and a shuttle cock to practice hitting the shuttle high.It was a bit hard for me because I always drop the shuttle. 

It was fun.Then Ben told us to get in a group of 6.In my group was Lupe, Eti, Akesa, Mana, Justice and me.Later on we swapped  group. Eti was in Justice group and Akesa was in my group.

This is my grouping with in ten.Today I used blocks to make my grouping with in ten.I used 5 yellow blocks and 5 red blocks.I have also used a combination of words and numbers to make my grouping with in ten.
